HORSE BOARDING
Chevy Acres is a home away from home for your horses. It consists
of 90 acres of fenced and cross-fenced pasture areas in which we
divide and house the various horses. We have a great view of all
horses from our house. We treat them like our own and they
receive daily attention and "treats" if allowed.
We are a family run operation that offers pasture boarding. This
includes good quality hay during the late fall, winter and early spring
and fresh water all year long.
At this time we do not have a barn facility or covered arena.....but
hopefully this will come someday! We do have a training pen as well
as a round pen that horse owners are welcome to utilize.
We ask only two things of our horse owners and that is that the
horses be up-to-date on their vaccines and deworming and that the
horses are able to socialize with other horses as they will be placed
into an appropriate pasture with other horses.
We also have a farrier that visits us on a regular basis for your
convenience (but please feel free to continue to use whomever you
are comfortable with).
